About PACT:

The PACT Urban Peace Program empowers, supports and encourages youth to reach their full potential in life. PACT's solution for Peace in Urban Communities, and its programming: Restorative Justice, Life-Plan Mentor Coaching, and Life-Skills Projects continues to change the lives of thousands of youth across the GTA.

PACT works with at-risk youth and youth in conflict with the law, in partnership with the courts and schools in communites across the GTA.

Reflecting on our growing work in local schools and the broader community, PACT recently launched the One Village Care Initiative, a program dedicated to connecting the local social, political, and business communities to PACT's existing Urban Peace Programs.

About PACT's One Village Care:

PACT's One Village Care Initiative is an Etobicoke-Lakeshore community building campaign designed to bring together the local social, political, and business communities, in an effort to identify and address the fundamental social issues that prohibits our growth as a community.

        These issues include:

        • at-risk youth
        • poverty
        • social neglect
        • environmental sustainability

In partnership with our community, PACT's One Village Care Initiative seeks to build the most innovative and effective social delivery programs that help build a sustainable model for social change.

PACT’s One Village Care Initiative is a Call-To-Action for South Etobicoke to gather around the table, and help define the common language that promotes our growth as a community.
 
By providing community members with the ability to think freely and talk openly, we can begin to address the fundamental social issues we seek to change. Only by understanding what we have in common, as a community, can we begin to produce a cycle of empowered and socially integrated individuals and families
